About Me

Hi, I’m Chirag!

I’m a trainer and I co-run Strength System, Chennai’s favourite gym.

In 2017, in a span of 5 months, I went from being a client to part-time intern to full time trainer at the same gym much to the dismay of my family. The opportunity to help make a positive difference in people’s lives through fitness excited me.

Over the last three years, I have worked with a wide variety of regular people ranging from:

  • A 10 year-old kid who feared movement, to
  • Young adults wanting to look their best, to
  • Busy moms wanting to crush push-ups again, to
  • My 82 year old grandmother who continues to inspire other older adults to lift weights and take charge of their lives

My biggest learning is that everyone CAN train. I want to help make training work for you taking into account your wants and needs. You’d still need to put in the effort though.

I realise that training is a privilege that very few have access to and I want to help break that access barrier.
